Peter Montana is a seasoned mechanical HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) professional with a career spanning over thirty-five years. His dedication to ensuring optimal indoor comfort and air quality has made him a respected figure in the field.

Early Career and Education:
My journey in HVAC began in the fuel oil industry in Patchogue, New York, working for Reliance Fuel Oil Associates; I was 19 years old when he enrolled in a trade technical school to further my knowledge. I gained a strong foundation in hydronic and steam heating, ventilation, and air conditioning. I graduated and obtained a certification from the North American Technician Excellence (NATE), a highly respected organization in the HVAC industry.

Entry-Level Roles:
In 1989, I started my own business as a local HVAC contractor. The company’s meticulous attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction quickly earned us recognition. I excelled in various aspects of HVAC, from installing and maintaining heating systems to troubleshooting complex air conditioning issues and design.

Certifications and Licenses:
Throughout my career, I have dedicated myself to professional development. I hold several industry certifications and licenses, including:
– NATE Certification: I am certified by NATE in various HVAC specialties such as Daikin heat pumps and gas heating.

EPA 608 Certification: I am certified under the Environmental Protection Agency’s Section 608 program, demonstrating my knowledge of safe refrigerant handling practices.

I hold many HVAC licenses, ensuring compliance with local regulations and codes.
My greatest strength is my unwavering commitment to excellence and my extensive knowledge and experience which have made me a trusted authority in the mechanical HVAC industry.
