Job Title:HVAC Install-Service Technician

We are looking for a Field Service Specialist for NY. If you have worked in service, maintenance, and installation of DDC control systems and mechanical systems which may include: HVAC, security, network, and fire alarm systems in a commercial, process, construction and/or retrofit environment. We would like to speak with you!

As a Field Specialist for our service team you will:

Handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Perform scheduled, routine preventive maintenance on mechanical, DDC & electrical equipment/systems calls.

Perform installations, complete emergency calls, and perform testing & start-up support across a wide range of electrical or mechanical equipment, systems and subsystems (including software where applicable) which are simple to moderately complex in nature.

Perform service and maintain systems involving networks, system integration, open technologies, software based interfaces, HVAC controls, fire/security systems and other facility/infrastructure management systems.

Assist sales and operations with delivering customer requirements.

Meet with customer and evaluate customer site specifics.

Troubleshoot HVAC control systems, communication systems, and identify LAN issues.

Work with electrical, mechanical, network, and engineering.

Basic Qualifications:

• 1 year experience with MS Office Software Additionally Desired.
• 1 year experience Commercial HVAC installation and DDC Controls
• Ability to take ownership of a project with little supervision.
• Technical Degree
• Security, direct digital controls and mechanical systems
• Computer literate in computer operating systems and applications such as MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Valid and clean driving record.
